No Signal, No Problem

A few days ago, my family, along with Alexis's family, went hiking at Bushkill Falls. There are four trails in this park: green, yellow, blue, and red. We took the red trail which took about 3 hours to hike and included all eight of the waterfalls.

My little camera assistant/best friend of 15-years.

The place was beautiful and a bit surreal, seeing that I rarely go on hikes like these. (I really should find more places to go hiking). The wooden bridges and trails of course added an even more rustic element to the already celestial scenery.

Although our families know not what it is to be quiet, this place offered a sense of peace and quiet that we all forget that we need in the hustle and bustle of our lives. It gives you a chance to reflect on past memories and thoughts, and to discover that life has a lot in store for you. It also helped that this place had no signal anywhere; the outside world had no way to disturb your adventure.

If you ever visit the Poconos and have time, make sure to stop by Bushkill Falls for a few hours away from civilization.
